Damarosa is an art collective of women and non-binary creatives founded by Britt Bogan, Tara Morris and Mishel Prada in 2015. The mission of the damas is to create opportunities and spaces to use art and film as an instrument of social change. Damarosa has exhibited in galleries in New York and Los Angeles. They have published three zines, Little Birds, Silent Spring and Jane Sent Us. Their work reflects on issues like the climate crisis, reproductive justice; charitable contributions and fundraising are crucial parts of its mission. Damarosa knows that art and storytelling have the power to shape culture and are committed to creating a community to do so.
