Zine Making Workshop with FEMINIST

RSVP HERE ⬅️

Join FEMINIST, a prominent social-first digital community for women, girls, and gender expansive people with a global following of over 6M+, for a zine making workshop at Soho Works in Brooklyn, NY .

During this 1.5-hour session, you will have the opportunity to design your own zine. As we gather around a table, we will engage in crafting, happy hour, and building connection through meaningful conversation. We will supply all the necessary materials for you to create your own unique zine.

This workshop comes after the successful release of their first-ever zine that brought together leading feminist voices, artists, activists and creators to celebrate and interrogate what being an intersectional feminist means today and into the future. The inaugural collection of contributions from feminists around the world highlighted some of this moment’s most pressing political issues and included art, interviews, photography, toolkits and more from your favorite feminist icons, reproductive justice advocates, trans activists, Indigenous artists, and more.

Virtual Chalk Back: Moments of Resistance

Globally, we continue to witness and experience the rollbacks of rights impacting girls, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, and women in our communities. This oppression only further fuels our motivation to unite in solidarity, to organize and to Chalk Back.

Join us on the first day of International Anti Street Harassment week for a Global Virtual Chalk Back. In partnership with different feminist activists, movements and organizations, we will celebrate and showcase cultural moments and acts of resistance against street harassment.

This is being organized by Chalk Back, Feminist, Cheer Up Luv, Stop Street Harassment, Safe City, and Red Dot Foundation.
