Team FEMINIST Joins VP Kamala Harris in North Carolina on the One Year Anniversary of the Overturning of Roe V Wade

It’s officially been one year since the repeal of Roe V. Wade. What does that mean and what can we do about it?

Today, more than 23 million women of reproductive age—one in three—live in one of the 18 states with an abortion ban currently in effect—and that’s not even including non-binary and trans folks who also need abortion access.

FEMINIST Co-founders, Blair Imani and Aisha Becker-Burrowes joined VP Kamala Harris in Charlotte, North Carolina, commemorating the anniversary of the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade. VP Kamala Harris shared stories of women whose lives were jeopardized due to the consequences of the ruling and shared a message to inspire collective action towards codifying our right to reproductive justice. Reporting live from the ground, the FEMINIST team asked other attendees, organization leaders and activists, about their experience and message to the community. View what they had to say below!
