As an aspiring lawyer, she plans to dedicate her career to increasing insulin accessibility, supporting diabetes research, fixing the U.S. health care system.Author Raquel Willis is sharing her journey in activism and self-discovery as a Black trans woman through her debut memoir, The Risk It Takes to Bloom: On Life and Liberation.
