The US Supreme Court overturned Roe V. Wade. In the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization case, the conservative majority US Supreme court ruled 6-3 to ban abortion, which effectively overturned Roe V Wade, the constitutional right to abortion established nearly 50 years ago. (More below)
Here at Feminist we know the fight is not over. They can never stop abortion, abortion is a human right. We will continue to advocate for all people’s right to bodily autonomy.

🚩26 states could quickly move to ban abortion; 36 million women — nearly half of the people of reproductive age (18-49) in the United States — and other people who can become pregnant are in the position to lose abortion access. Legal abortions would no longer be accessible to many, particularly among poor women in the South and Midwest, and out-of-state travel and abortion pills would play a bigger role. (Source NY Times)
What you can do:

2️⃣ Your vote matters— you have the power to vote for bold, unapologetic champions for abortion rights in this years midterm elections: Candidates like Sens. Raphael Warnock and Maggie Hassan and gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams. Access the 2022 Pro-choice voter guide 👉 here by @voteprochoice.
3️⃣ You have the power to protest and contact your local lawmakers. This ruling has no power without people enforcing it. You can continue to advocate and protect abortion in your local community.
4️⃣ Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations will continue to fight back. Alongside NARAL Pro-Choice America and EMILY’s List.
